Well, at a true all inclusive resort, all food, drinks, alcoholic beverages, and activities are for one, set price. Food and drinks are available during all, normal waking hours. This is not to be confused with hotels in Costa Rica that are remote, such as on the Osa Peninsula or in Tortuguero, that have no restaurants nearby, and therefore serve meals included in their prices. Occasionally, they may even serve wine with dinner, but they offer alcoholic beverages at no other time, or else they charge for it.
At true "all inclusive" resorts, there is always food, bear and liquor drinks available, and a range of resort sponsored things to do - entertainment, games, parties, a disco, etc.. Although activities may vary according to the resort and location, they, too, are free. Well, there is one exception...and that would be using the casino within the resort. For that, of course, you do have to use your own money! Other than that, relax, enjoy, and have a great time and carefree vacation in Costa Rica!
